About our Exhibits
Pittsburgh Center for the Arts is the city's foremost visual arts organization focused primarily on the presentation of contemporary art created in the region. Exhibiting the work of prominent and emerging artists of various visual disciplines, the Center provides a unique cross section of contemporary art in one location. With the ability to stage multiple exhibits concurrently, a mix of regional and national artists are featured regularly in the Shadyside galleries.
The Pittsburgh Filmmakers Galleries in North Oakland exhibits local and national artists with a focus in film, photography, digital media and installation.
Pittsburgh Filmmakers exhibits a wide variety of first-run foreign and independent American films as well as classics and documentaries at its three theaters: the Regent Square Theater in the East End, the Harris Theater in Pittsburgh's downtown cultural district, and the Melwood Screening Room in the main facility in North Oakland.
