PCA is celebrating our 70th year in 2015
We’re looking forward to another fun filled summer full of exciting programs!
Campers and High School Immersion students can expect elevated art experiences in our ten professional fine art studios and media labs that take place at the Center School, an entire building dedicated to community arts education.
Making use of all our organization has to offer, our programs utilize the entire PCA Shadyside Campus including our contemporary galleries and Center Shop as well as the Filmmaker’s School on location in Oakland, for a few distinguished Immersion programs.
Many of our camps combine visual arts with other creative mediums like performance, literature, architecture and science under the direction of teaching artists who are working professionals in these creative fields. As a leader in media arts education in our region, PF/PCA’s Youth Media Program recognizes the rapid growth of technology and its contribution to the arts. For nearly a decade this program has fostered media literacy in the community.
We’re committed to offering a creative outlet from painting and sculpture to video and more. We invite your family to become a part of the PF/PCA Center School’s Art Camp experience as you create, explore and learn with friends.
High School Immersions are designed for students entering grades 9 through 12 (ages 14 – 18).
Keep up to date on class closing and school delays along with any other alerts.
